After breakfast in Pokhara, the journey begins with a scenic jeep ride to Samrong near Jhinu Danda, offering views of green hills and snow-capped peaks. From Samrong, the trek ascends to Chhomrong village (2,170m), crossing a suspension bridge over the Modi Khola River and enjoying terraced landscapes. After lunch, the trail continues steeply to Sinuwa, a peaceful village with stunning views of the Annapurna range and Machhapuchhre, where you stay overnight at a teahouse.

After breakfast at Sinuwa, the trek descends gradually to Bamboo (2,310m), surrounded by bamboo groves and rhododendron forests, with chances to spot local wildlife. From Bamboo, the trail ascends through forests, waterfalls, and streams to Dovan (2,600m), following the Modi Khola Valley. The Himalaya village offers stunning sunset views of Machhapuchhre (Mt. Fishtail) and a peaceful teahouse stay, preparing for the next day’s ascent to Annapurna Base Camp.

Today’s trek ascends gradually to Deurali, passing cautious avalanche-prone zones, and reaches Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC) (3,700m) for lunch with views of Annapurna III, Himchuli, and Gandharva Chuli. The final 1.5-hour climb brings you to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) at 4,130m, surrounded by peaks like Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre, and Annapurna South. Spend the night at ABC, enjoying the breathtaking scenery and clear night sky in preparation for a sunrise view the next day.

We wake up early to watch the sunrise over the Annapurna Range, as the peaks glow golden in the morning light. After breakfast, we begin descending through Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC) and Deurali toward Bamboo, passing rhododendron forests, waterfalls, and scenic valleys. By late afternoon, we reach Lower Sinuwa, a peaceful village where we spend the night and rest before the final day of the trek.

After breakfast, we descend to Chhomrong along the stone staircase and continue through terraces and forests toward Jhinu Danda. After lunch, we trek down to Sewai, where a jeep or bus takes us back to Pokhara, providing a final opportunity to reflect on the unforgettable Annapurna Base Camp trek.
